End Result:

This is what you get when you mix Acei and Electric Yellow Lab Cichlids together (Their descriptions below).  The small fry of about 6 are too young for any color to show up yet.  Although it appears that they all have small, dark stripes running vertically on their sides.  They are roughly a few centimeters long, and 2 months old.  A new update will be posted once the fry reaches 3 months old.  What color are they going to be?

This is the Electric Yellow Lab Cichlid.  It is female (lack of milk spots on lower rear fin), and very small for her age of 1 1/2 years old.  It is about 3.5 inches long, but will grow to approximately 6-8 inches long.  Electric Yellow is a proper name for this cichlid.  Its body and fins are bold yellow, with a small black stripe running across the top dorsal fin. 

Acei Cichlid

This is the Acei (or "Iceman") Cichlid.  This is a male, as you can tell by the milk spots that appear on its lower rear fin.  The body is fluorescent purple with yellow fins.  It is about 1 1/2 years old and already grew to its max length of 6 inches.

New Discovery

What do you get when you mix an Acei cichlid with an Electric Yellow Lab cichlid?  We will find out in a few weeks, as my only two fish decided to have a small fry of four "hybrids".
